How We Make Our Bespoke Branded Biscuits
At Print Cakes, we love working on bespoke biscuit projects—especially the kind that push our creativity.
One of our recent custom orders came in pretty last-minute, but we jumped straight in. After a minor showdown with some stubborn tech (good job we have lots of back up printers!), the biscuits came out beautifully—and as always, the result was more than worth it!
So how do we turn your brand into biscuit form? Here's a peek behind the scenes…
Step 1: Designing the Perfect Biscuit
It all starts with you! Whether you’ve got a logo, product shape, or fun campaign idea, we’ll help you bring it to life. We create a custom visual mock-up of your design, so you know exactly what your biscuits will look like before we start baking.
Step 2: Creating Your Custom Cutter
Once you’ve approved the design, we get to work on making a bespoke cutter using our in-house 3D printer. There’s a one-off £40 charge for this, but once it’s made, it’s yours forever—we keep it safely stored, ready for any future orders.
(Top tip: lots of our regular clients love coming back for re-orders once their cutter’s made!)
Step 3: Printing the Edible Image
We print your logo or image onto our premium sugarpaste using food-safe, edible ink. The quality is always crisp, clear, and vibrant—your brand deserves to look its best, even in biscuit form!
Step 4: Time to Bake
Now for the good stuff! Our signature vanilla biscuits are made the proper way—with just five simple ingredients: flour, sugar, butter, eggs and Madagascan vanilla. No additives, no preservatives—just melt-in-the-mouth buttery goodness.
We roll, cut, and bake each biscuit fresh to order.
Step 5: Topping and Packaging
Once cooled, we apply the printed sugarpaste to each biscuit by hand and seal them in individual, crystal-clear bags—perfect for gifting, event goodie bags, or direct mail campaigns.
Step 6: Delivery Across the UK
We carefully pack everything up and send your biscuits off with our trusted courier partner, DPD. Whether you're in London, Leeds, or Loch Ness—we’ll get your biscuits there safely and on time.
