B Corporation believe in an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet. The purpose is to use business as a force for good. Organisations are looking at ways to to measure and improve their impact on the environment and social inequalities, and B Corp Certification guides them through this, and also lets you know how other organisations are doing.
Who can apply for B Corp Certification?
If you have a for profit business that has been trading for more than 12 months you can apply, even as a sole trader. Over 5000 businesses are already B Corp Certified! B Corps commit to meeting high standard of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
How do I apply for B Corp Certification?
The first step is to complete a free B Impact Assessment to measure where you are at now and verify your performance. You need a score of 80+ and B Cooperation will help you improve your score to meet this criteria.
Once you have succeeded you will be able to use the B Cor stamp of approval to demonstrate your credentials to other businesses and customers. We have recently worked with companies who have achieved their B Corp Certification and they celebrated with all their colleagues using our delicious cupcakes!
