So we've been nominated and shortlisted for a Sunderland Echo Portfolio Award in the New Business category and we're super excited. We know it's not all about the winning, but it would be pretty good!
Print Cakes started life at the beginning of the year (2018) baking delicious logo cupcakes and photo cupcakes for people and businesses in the UK and Ireland. They've sent their branded cupcakes all over place, including London, Manchester, York and Cornwall (which is pretty much as far away from Sunderland as you can get). Although the business has years of experience provided by it's director Helena Harford who has been baking thousands of cupcakes for the last seven and a half years, the company is a big new step. That being said Print Cakes have hit the ground running and we are moving into our new unit in Sunderland in the coming weeks. It will soon be taking on extra bakers to help manage the increasing orders.
It's been very humbling to have so many repeat customers and we really want to say a big thank you to all the companies, businesses and individuals who have ordered from us. So far this year we have baked logo cupcakes for national businesses including Virign Money, Vodafone, O2, World Pay, Easy Jet, Sky, Evans Halshaw and Go Daddy. We've also sent cupcake gift boxes for birthdays, hen parties, thank yous, new jobs and new babbies.
In the comming months Print Cakes are looking to upscale prodcution and take on some new bakers. Exciting times ahead and fingers corssed for the Portfolio Awards.
